Don Fabio’s roar of approval

(09-09-2010) Fabio Caplello has labelled England’s first half display against Switzerland on Wednesday as their best performance since he took over as manager. England beat the Swiss 3-1 to record their second straight win in the qualifiers for Euro 2012. "It is the best first half since I have been England manager," commented Capello afterwards. "To play here against Switzerland is not easy. The fans and the stadium and the pitch made it really difficult for us to play.” He added: "We played very well, with confidence. The players are fresh. They play quickly. They run fast. For this moment we are a good team." England’s next match is against Montenegro next month.
