Fab feels the love for Almunia

(14-09-2010) Gaff-prone Arsenal ‘keeper Manuel Almunia is trusted by his team-mates, insists Gunners skipper Cesc Fabregas. Arsenal tried desperately hard to sign Fulham stopper Mark Schwarzer in the summer as a replacement for Almunia such was the club’s exasperation with the Spaniard last season. But following three wins from their first four games of the season with Almunia between the sticks, things are looking rosy at the Emirates. "Manuel commanded the defence very well at Blackburn - but it is not just about one game or two or three," commented Fabregas on Monday. "He is well-loved player among everybody here and performs well for this club. We all wish him a super season and have a lot of trust."
