Roo will fire shortly – Crouch

(07-10-2010) England star Peter Crouch has backed under-fire striker Wayne Rooney to shine again. Rooney has struggled for form this season for both Manchester United and the Three Lions Tottenham star Crouch now believes it is only a matter of time before the 24-year-old shows his true class once again. "He's a top-class player and I'm sure he'll come good this season, without a doubt. He's a fantastic player and someone I always enjoy playing with,” commented Crouch on Wednesday. "There's no doubt he'll score goals and hopefully he'll do it against Montenegro." England play Montennegro in a Euro 2012 qualifier next week. Rooney has scored a single goal all season – from the penalty spot!
