Gunners starlet in the money and other red-hot gossip

(30-10-2010) Arsenal are set to offer young star Jack Wilshere a bumper new deal. According to reports, the 20-year-old will put pen to paper shortly on a £20m, five-year contract. Wilshere is considered one of the best talents in England and has started to show his class in the Gunners first team this season. Elsewhere, Blackburn are set to offer Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips a chance to resurrect his career at Ewood Park; Manchester United are set to make a move for Italian star Daniele de Rossi who plays for Serie A side Roma; and Arsenal are considering a move for Real Madrid bench warmer Karim Benzema, who has also been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United.
