Cesc’s warning to City

(21-10-2010) Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas has shrugged off Manchester City’s title credentials, claiming the ambitious club cannot buy the spirit of champions. The Gunners head for Eastlands on Sunday on the back of a confidence restoring 5-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday. "Everyone chooses their own politics and everyone decides how to win," commented Fabregas on Wednesday. "They have a lot of money. They are taking advantage of it, and that's it. It is not our style, but we respect everyone's decision." Added the Spaniard: "You cannot buy the spirit in one year. You need a few years to get everyone together and to get to know each other well, and it's not easy. You don't make a team in one season or two." City currently trail EPL leaders Chelsea by two points with Arsenal a further three points back.
