City have championship mentality - Mancini

(18-10-2010) Manchester City are developing a championship winning mentality, according to manager Roberto Mancini. His comments come after the Blues beat Blackpool 3-1 on Sunday to move within two points of EPL leaders Manchester City. Two goals from Carlos Tevez and a stunning strike from David Silva ensured Mancini’s side the three points. "We continue to change our mentality. Chelsea can sometimes win games they don't deserve to and we must do the same,” commented Mancini afterwards. "We didn't play well in the first half but got better in the second half. It's important because you can't play well always.” He added: “It's strong teams who win games when they don't play their best and it's important to keep doing this in the season. Sometimes it is important to win like we did here. We didn't play well.”
