Chelsea set to welcome back star defender

(08-10-2010) Chelsea star Jose Bosingwa is on the verge of a return to action after almost a year out through injury. The Portugal defender has not featured for the club since damaging knee ligaments against Aston Villa in October 2009. But now the £16m full-back expects to be fit for the Blues' next game - ironically against Villa a week tomorrow, virtually a year after his initial injury. The 28-year-old Bosingwa joined Chelsea from Porto and was an ever-present for the Blues before being cruelly cut down by knee knack.
