De Jong hasn’t apologised – Ben Arfa’s agent

(11-10-2010) Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong has yet to apologise to Hatem Ben Arfa for the horror tackle that broke the Newcastle winger’s leg. According to Ben Arfa’s agent, the Frenchman will be sidelined until March 2011, denying him the opportunity to make the most of his loan spell at St James' Park. "De Jong hasn't been in touch at all," said Simon Stanford. "Brian Marwood, who is a top-class professional person, sent a note from Manchester City saying everyone wished him a speedy recovery and sent a gift, but that's it.” He added: "The facts of the matter are he hasn't been in touch and he hasn't apologised. Brian Marwood has been in touch, but not De Jong."
