No Rooney contact - City

(20-10-2010) Manchester City have had no contact with want-away Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney. The England striker’s future at Old Trafford is in doubt after manager Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed on Tuesday that the 24-year-old could be on his way out of Old Trafford after failing to agree a new contract. "There has been no contact. He's a great player but it's not my problem," said Blues manager Roberto Mancini on Monday. "He is an important player for United and I think he will stay," added Mancini. "I have respect for him, for Ferguson, for United.”
