Pep’s going nowhere – Agent

(04-12-2010) Pep Guardiola will remain Barcelona boss for the foreseeable future, claims his agent Jose Maria Orobitg. Guardiola, who is out of contract in June, has been linked with Inter Milan, Chelsea and Manchester United in recent weeks. Orobitg however is adamant Guardiola will still be at the Catalans' helm next term, although he admits contract talks are yet to get under way. "At this moment there is nothing with another club,” Orobitg told calciomercato.it on Friday. "I’ve not had any direct contact with Inter, only questions by other agents, but we are not currently contemplating a departure.” He added: "Guardiola's contract expires in June, it is too early to begin negotiations for the renewal, but Pep has always preferred to renew from year to year. I think that next season Pep will still be on Barcelona's bench. He's very well here, is very Catalan and is a special coach".
