City happy to sue Tevez

(14-12-2010) Manchester City have threatened to sue Carlos Tevez if he walks out on them or retires. The plucky Argentine has cited homesickness as the reason behind his decision to seek a transfer back to his homeland in January. He even turned down a £1.5m bonus back in August as he is so determined to leave. The 26-year-old claims that his refusal to accept the sweetener shows that money is not his main motivation. The City hierarchy however are having none of it. They firmly believe that the homesickness story is merely a con to either extract more money out of the club or to guarantee a big-money move elsewhere, probably to Spain.
