Serie A giants covet Kop legend

Inter Milan will make another big effort to sign Steven Gerrard at the end of the season. According to reports in Italy, the Serie A giants will test Liverpool’s resolve by waving a cool £30m under their noses. They will finance the deal by selling unsettled striker Mario Balotelli to Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City or Barcelona. And with Gerrard becoming increasingly disillusioned with Liverpool's inability to challenge for silverware, let alone their likely missing out on a Champions League place next season, Inter could just be successful in their attempt to lure the Kop legend to Italy.
