Ronaldo outshines Ronaldo!

Cristiano Ronaldo recently went head-to-head with....Cristiano Ronaldo! On Friday on a stage in Madrid the Portugal international battled a 10 metre high virtual image of himself in a spectacular duel. Earlier the former World Player of the Year had been filmed on the Real Madrid training ground dribbling through cones on a a 24-metre course to set a blistering club record of 10.49sec. This video footage was then projected on to a backdrop as he tried to beat himself as part of World Cup sponsors Castrol's ‘Challenge Ronaldo’ event. And Ronaldo didn’t disappoint in the live version as he broke his own record with a blistering time of 9.33sec. "I've competed against some of the best players in the world, but I have never had the chance to challenge myself. I want to show I am the best, so I had to get the fastest time!” said Ronaldo afterwards.
