Fab’s body and mind destroyed
Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas is a broken man – both physically and mentally. The Spanish midfield maestro admitted on Friday that the leg fracture he suffered during the Gunners Champions League draw with Barcelona has left him devastated as he is unlikely to play again this season. Arsenal play Wolves on Saturday. “I'm heartbroken I can't be one of them now - but nobody will be cheering us on louder from the touchline,” admitted Fabregas on Friday. He also hit back at those who suggested he should have never played against Barcelona because he was already suffering from injury. “I've heard the questions about whether it was the right thing for me to play because I was doubtful right up to the kick-off. I wanted to play and although I knew I wasn't 100 per cent fit I believed I could do a job for us.”
