Up your game, Rio!

Rio Ferdinand has been told to up his game in no uncertain terms by Sir Alex Ferguson or risk missing out on next year’s World Cup. Fergie’s advice follows a number of high profile clangers by Ferdinand for both club and country in what has been a miserable season for the elegant defender. "He has to get good form. I'm sure he's taken the criticism on board. Do I think he'll go to the World Cup? Yes, of course! But first he needs to up his game,” says Ferguson.
