Giants chase Brazilian and other transfer rumours

Manchester United and Chelsea are set to lock horns in the chase for the signature of 19-year-old Brazilian midfielder Alex Teixeira Santos after his stellar performances at the recent Under-20 World Cup in Egypt. Santos currently plays for Rio de Janeiro giants Vasco da Gama. Elsewhere, Yaya Toure could join older brother Kolo at Manchester City as part of a swap deal that will see Robinho moving to Barcelona, while Real Madrid are ready to offer Arsenal £16m for defender Gael Clichy. And finally, Tottenham are lining up a £14m deal for Internacional's Brazilian midfielder Sandro, who is also a target for Real Madrid and Barcelona.
