Nani out and other transfer rumours

Nani’s days at Manchester United appear to be numbered after being left on the bench for Saturday’s win over Bolton. According to reports, Sir Alex Ferguson has finally run out of patience with the inconsistent Portuguese winger and will look to offload him in January if he can land Spanish star David Silva from Valencia. Elsewhere, Manchester City are monitoring Liverpool bench-warmer Yossi Benayoun, European champions Barcelona will offer Manchester City £32.5m plus Thierry Henry in exchange for Brazilian star Robinho, and Tottenham are lining up swap deal with AC Milan that will see Russian flop Roman Pavlyuchenko moving to the San Siro and Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar heading to White Hart Lane.
