At last, good news for Rafa!

Under-fire Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has received a timely boost with the news that club superstars Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres may yet play against Manchester United on Sunday. The duo have been nursing knocks and missed Tuesday’s Champions League loss to Lyon. "Fernando trained today and has been working on a specific programme. We will speak with the physios over the weekend before making a decision about Steven," said Benitez. Liverpool have lost their last four games and a defeat to United would spell their worst run of form in 56 years. Liverpool fans can however take heart from the fact that they beat the Red Devils in last year’s corresponding fixture...without Gerrard and Torres!
