Another superstar linked to City and other transfer rumours

Another day and another superstar has been linked to big spending Manchester City. This time it is Brazil and Inter Milan full-back Maicon who will apparently cost £20m...small change for the world’s richest club, who are also said to be trying to tempt Bayern Munich into parting with French star Franck Ribery by waving a cheque for a cool £65m under the German club’s noses! Elsewhere, Portsmouth are to ready make a bid for Tottenham's out of favour Mexican youngster Giovani Dos Santos. Dos Santos joined Spurs last season from Barcelona and was widely touted as the next big thing. But things haven’t worked out for the midfielder at White Hart Lane and he could be headed for struggling Pompey.
