Blues set to spend big and other transfer rumours

Chelsea are set to whip out their cheque book in the January transfer window to show big-spending Manchester City who is boss in the transfer market. And the big names on Chelsea’s shopping-list include some of the world’s most exciting talent, including former Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira (now of Inter Milan), Benfica winger Angel di Maria, Valencia's David Villa and Aston Villa's Emile Heskey. But that’s not all! Roma's Italian international Daniele de Rossi, Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero and Manchester City talisman Robinho are also all being considered as Carlo Ancelotti looks to spend a massive transfer kitty of £100m. Elsewhere, Tottenham are chasing young Inter Milan defender Gladson Awako, who hails from Ghana, while Arsneal are after West Ham's Swiss utility man Valon Behrami.
