United abuse unjust – Tevez
Carlos Tevez believes the abuse he receives from Manchester United fans is unjust. The little Argentine striker, who left United to join fierce cross-town rivals Manchester City in the summer, was booed every time he touched the ball when the teams clashed earlier this season. "Obviously I was disappointed, because I don't think I deserved to be treated that way. When I was there, I was a hard-working and loyal player who gave my all," commented Tevez on Thursday after it was announced that City and United had been pitted against each other in the semi-finals of the Carling Cup. Tevez, however, insists he will still not celebrate if he scores against his former team. "Obviously I'd be delighted to beat United and reach the final but I still have respect for the club. I won't celebrate if I score. I don't want to rub their noses in it."
