Harry ready to play Scrooge

Harry Redknapp may be a happy man as his Tottenham team ride high in the EPL, but he has warned that he is ready to "cancel" Christmas if their form wavers. Redknapp famously called off festive season celebrations at Portsmouth a few seasons ago after the team was given a hiding by South Coast rivals Southampton. "I could have the grandkids around for a Christmas meal, but deep down there's a chance I will be in a hump if results have gone badly. It's silly really, but that's how my Christmasses are every year - and I am not alone in that," Redknapp revealed on Thursday. Spurs travel to Everton tomorrow, they then host Wolves next Saturday and Manchester City four days later. "It's hard. There are a lot of games but it’s a job that ends up affecting so many people's lives. So you do everything you can."
