United to face former darling

David Beckham and Manchester United will face-off after the Red Devils were drawn against AC Milan in the last 16 of the Champions League on Friday. It is the first time that Beckham, who left United in 2003, has faced his former pay masters on the football field. The two-leg match is set for the 9/10 or 16/17 March. "Beckham will get a fantastic reception, as players coming back usually do at Manchester United," said the club's director of communications Phil Townsend. "He was a terrific servant for the club and we all hope he will be playing." Chelsea, meanwhile, were drawn against ex-manager Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan, while England’s other surviving team Arsenal drew Porto. Reigning champions Barcelona face German side Stuttgart, while their La Liga rivals Real Madrid face a tricky tie against French side Lyon.
