Rooney on fire – Cuellar

Aston Villa defender Carlos Cuellar believes Wayne Rooney can fire England to glory in the World Cup. This comes after Rooney ran the Villa defence ragged in another vintage performance on Wednesday night. While not adding to his 23 goal tally, he covered every blade of grass on the pitch as a 10-man Manchester United drew 1-1 at Villa Park."Rooney is playing very well. He is on fire now,” said Cuellar afterwards. "He is scoring a lot of goals. He will cause anyone lots of problems. If Rooney continues to play like that, England can win the World Cup.”
