Pires wants to get back at Neville

(31-01-2011) EPL legend Robert Pires has implored Sir Alex Ferguson to pick Gary Neville when Manchester United clash with Aston Villa on Tuesday - so he can get his own back on the defender who made his life a misery. Pires clashed with Neville many times during his glory days with Arsenal. Quizzed about who the most annoying player he has played against, Pires told The Sun newspaper on Tuesday: "Gary Neville. Every time I came up against him, he made my life a misery. There were a lot of insults - he liked to tread on my feet at corners or free-kicks. It was always just about provocation and there were some games when I fell into his trap. I thought more about having a row with him than playing football. But I'd love to play against him again."
